Karly Cleary started her tattoo journey in 2005 apprenticing under John “Trip” Tripodi at the Inkwell in Southampton. Although tattooing wasn’t in her field of vision as far as potential careers, she found that her fine art background transitioned well into the industry and she quickly fell in love with the rich history and modern evolution of tattooing.
Becoming well versed in many styles, Karly prides herself in working with her clients to provide a collaborative experience. It is her honor to adorn her clients with tattoos they will love and be proud of for the rest of their lives.
Please use the contact submission form (Click Here) and we will email you back as soon as we can about your inquiry. We look forward to hearing from you!
Karly is $200 an hour and works in three hour sessions. You will be scheduled for four hours for set up, breakdown, and breaks, however she will only charge you for the time you are actually being tattooed. For larger tattoos, you will be scheduled for multiple sessions, Karly will estimate the amount of time needed during your consultation.
You will be scheduled for a virtual consultation with Karly to discuss your idea further, this can be done via FaceTime, Zoom, or phone. At this time she will find out what kind of artwork you're thinking of, and together you'll design a custom piece that fits your style and interests.
After the consultation is completed, Karly will collect a deposit. Her assistant will text you within the next few days to schedule you a drawing appointment and tattoo appointments. From there, you're all set to be tattooed!
She requires a $100 deposit in order to schedule appointments. Deposits are collected with Venmo or processed through a SquareReader. Please note that if you choose to use card/process through Square, there is a 2.75% surcharge.
Deposits are used in case of sudden cancellation without 48-hours notice, if the client changes/cancels their idea/appointments after their drawing is completed, or if a client does not show up to an appointment. If none of these occur, the deposit is used at the final tattoo session.
12 to 15+ months out after your consultation with Karly. You will be given an approximate wait time after your initial inquiry.
On your scheduled drawing date, Karly will email you a draft of your drawing, look for it in your inbox towards the end of the day. This is the time to make any small adjustments to your drawing or ask Karly any further questions about your tattoo.
Fabled Tattoo Studio requires a minimum of 48-hours notice for all cancellations. If you need to cancel, contact us via our Google Voice number, email, or through the contact submission form. Failure to provide 48-hours notice or if you do not show up to your appointment, it is at Karly’s discretion whether or not she will take your deposit.
Before you come in, make sure to wear comfortable clothing or clothing that will make it easier to get tattooed in the area that Karly will be working on. If you're getting a tattoo on your arm, try wearing a tank top, and if you're getting a tattoo on a leg or ankle, try some loose sweatpants.
We recommend that you drink plenty of water and eat well the night before and leading up to your appointment. Feel free to bring snacks to your appointment if you think you'll need them.
